Flexible work pattern based around a 42.5 hour week
You will be a key member of our busy maintenance team, familiar with MMA and MIG welding processes.
Some responsibilities of a Fabricator/Welder include:
- Evaluate engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.
- Use of various hand and power tools.
- Use and follow site Permits to work.
- Assist maintenance teams as required.
About you:
Alongside your solid background in fabrication, preferably gained within a manufacturing environment, you are confident in working alone or alongside a team. You’ll be technically minded, keen to learn new skills and hold your work to a high level. In addition, you will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good understanding of computer-based systems and software.
- A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Problem solving skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines in a busy environment.
- Sound understanding of health and safety practices.
